Japanese kanji reading data
The Japanese on-reading map is derived from KANJIDIC2, maintained by EDRDG. NameFerry extracts Japanese on-readings, removes duplicates and sorts entries by character. The derived reading data remains under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Open-source software
Chinese variant conversion uses opencc-js/OpenCC, Pinyin uses pinyin-pro, Kana romanisation uses WanaKana, and the site is built with Astro.

Stroke diagrams & animation

Fonts for downloaded and printed cards
Name cards use self-hosted Noto Sans CJK 2.004 under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Fonts load only when making a card; website text keeps its existing font settings. The license permits commercial use and image creation. Redistributed font files must retain their license and copyright notices.
